  • Work out an emergency strategy. - If an emergency arises remember to inform all members of your carpool. Particularly if you are the driver all members of your carpool will need to be informed. A pre-arranged emergency strategy is recommended within your individual carpool. This may involve shared taxi, hire car, or other forms of transport. Although this may incur an extra cost this is more than offset by the savings of regular carpooling.
